Global shortage of Erythritol

Erythritol's raw material Corn has increased price by approximately 70% from Feb 2020. The major Erythritol manufacturers are not able to sustain the previous contract price. In the meantime, the famous Chinese beverage company called "Yuan Qi Seng Lin" has almost doubled 2021 Erythritol usage compared to last year. As a result, Erythritol manufacturers have cancelled global contracts for 2021. The price continues to increase every month and supply is extremely tight. Manufacturers cannot accept new orders before the end of July 2021. Compared to the same time last year, Erythritol market price has  increased by approximately 80%.
